Our Story.
The Sanmerna Foundation was founded in 2016 by brothers Robert and Mark White, who envisioned a future where underserved communities could access the resources needed to thrive. As the philanthropic arm of Sanmerna Paper Products, the Foundation reflects the Whites' commitment to creating sustainable change by addressing the challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals, particularly in inner-city areas.
Built on the pillars of education, health, and sports, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for underserved citizens by providing opportunities for personal and community growth. We empower young people and adults through scholarships, vocational training, and technical education. From covering tuition to sponsoring community sports events, we work to remove barriers and open new doors for those in need.
Our health initiatives focus on promoting wellness by organizing basic health screenings, providing first-aid supplies, and supporting community clinics. We also collaborate with local healthcare professionals to educate communities on healthy living practices. Through sports programs, we integrate not only recreation but the spirit of unity and peace into inner-city communities.
The Sanmerna Foundation embraces collaboration and community engagement as essential tools for sustainable impact. We partner with local organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders to identify priority projects and mobilize resources.
